Join Winns to Support Road Safety Week 2020
Winns is delighted to again be supporting Road Safety Week from 16th until 22nd November, the UK's biggest road safety event, coordinated annually by road safety charity Brake.
Brake’s aim for Road Safety Week 2020 is to focus on road users’ speed, highlighting the horrifying statistic that,
“With someone injured on a UK road every four minutes, and vehicle speed playing a part in every crash, it’s time to come together to say that there is NO NEED TO SPEED.”
Throughout the week Winns will share reminders to road users to keep speed at an appropriate level for the road conditions while emphasizing the potentially devastating impact of not doing so to ensure that you, and those around you are safer on the roads.

“When you are reminded that even 1mph can mean the difference between life and death, something that too many drivers forget, this year’s theme of Speed from Brake is a crucial one.
