Winn Solicitors has raised £1,840 by taking part in Will Aid.
Winns has been taking part in the annual charity Will-writing campaign since 2022 and this latest fundraising effort takes the overall total for this cause to £4,330.
Run every November, the campaign offers people the chance to have a Will professionally produced, with a suggested donation of £120 for a basic single Will, or £200 for a pair of basic mirror Wills, being donated to good causes, including Age UK and the British Red Cross among others.
The money will go to support Will Aid’s charity partners, who facilitate a range of charitable endeavours including humanitarian aid, protecting vulnerable children, and helping those facing hardship in the UK.
The funds were raised through the provision of free Will-writing services by Winns, with clients encouraged to make a donation to Will Aid.
Rebecca Harbron Gray, Winns’ Head of Wills, Probate, and Trusts, said: “We’re proud to support Will Aid each year – it’s a great opportunity to help our clients plan for the future while also raising funds for incredibly important causes.
“It’s always a real team effort, and everyone gets behind the campaign. Knowing that the work we do during the campaign has a wider impact beyond our day-to-day role makes it especially rewarding.”
Peter de Vena Franks, Will Aid’s Campaign Director, said: “The continued commitment from firms like Winn Solicitors is what makes Will Aid such a success year after year.
“Their support helps ensure the campaign can reach more people while generating essential funding for charities delivering crucial work in the UK and beyond.
“It’s a great example of how the legal profession can make a meaningful difference in communities.”
