Winn ambassador Amelia passes test

EIGHTEEN months after Winn Solicitors gave Amelia Lily a brand new car for her birthday, the pop star can finally take it out on the road independently, having passed her driving test.

The former X Factor star was gifted a Nissan Juke for her 18th birthday and in celebration of her role as the face of Winn’s young driving campaign.

But since then, while the star has been busy in the studio working on her new album, her time behind the wheel has been restricted to driving lessons.

With the ‘L’ plates having been firmly dispensed of, however, the singer is now free to fly solo on the open road in the car she received back in 2012.

The X Factor finalist as the face of Winn Solicitors’ campaign to raise awareness among young people of how to avoid accidents on the road and what to do in the event of a collision.

The company runs a special microsite for the campaign, featuring the strapline “Winns are number one for young drivers.”

As well as providing young people with a portal of essential information about safety on the roads, the site has also followed Amelia Lily’s journey towards passing her test through a video diary.

Since most new drivers are on a tight budget and can’t afford to pay expensive excesses or have their premiums go up after an accident, Winn aims to protect them from being punished by their insurance company.

It runs a complete accident management service.
